A simple way to Support Independent Film: support a non-profit, POTA!

    Dear Support Independent Film! members,

I've just received a message from a great 501(c)3 non-profit, Patron of the Arts, whose goal is to match filmmakers with patrons who want to support them. With about 15 seconds of your time, you can help them receive $25,000 from Chase Bank! I think this is a great, quick, and easy way to show and give support for independent films and filmmakers; all it takes is two clicks. Below is the original message:

    --------
Dear POTA Filmmakers, Artists and Supports.

Great News! Firstly, as of a few months ago Patron of the Arts is officially a 501(c)3 company! We are well on our way to helping match artists and filmmakers in need with Patrons who want to support them!

Secondly, I am writing because Chase Bank is donating $25,000 to the 100 non-profit companies that get the most facebook votes! YES, you heard me correctly! There is not just one winner but one-hundred! I KNOW we can do this! And it only takes 20 seconds of your time to help our important cause.

This contest started on November 11th and ends December 11th. I found out about it 3 weeks late, so we only have 6 days to catch up. However... If EVERY PERSON who received this message takes casts one vote for POTA immediately, I believe we could be one of the top 100 companies! We would immediately have an operating fund!! We could hire a programer and get our "Sponsor a Filmmaker" and "Sponsor an Artist" programs up and running on our website MUCH sooner, possibly this year!!

Voting for POTA takes 20 seconds and is easy!!
