Our free members have access to our mixer events and our Yahoo! Group. The Yahoo group is a group email list of 1300 (and growing!) members, that are interested or active in filmmaking in anyway.

Student Premiere memberships are available at a rate of $10 per year. Students must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled at a high school, college or university. Students must present a valid student ID or current report card and pick up his/her membership card at a SOFA mixer event.

2010 48 Hour team members may receive an initial (and one-time-only) Premiere Membership for $10. To receive your SOFA membership, applicants must provide the team name, entry name, producer name and contact, and your role for the 48HFP entry along with the application.

Independent filmmakers are artists that need your support. SOFA is dedicated to supporting those local filmmakers make a living in the craft. The spirit and cultural heritage that the visual media of film provides, represents the idealism of the American dream.
